So, this has been a pretty good week. Well, yesterday was a
labor day, so there were even more drunk people than usual, which was
fun. We went by to visit an investigator named Milton, and while we were
talking with him, his friend stummbled out of the building, super out of it,
but WOW! He started saying a bunch of random stuff about churches before Milton
led him back into the house. So ya, a usual day in the Villa.
Saturday, we (the missionaries) carried out a ward activity
that we´ve been planning for a few weeks now, and everything went well. It was
an activity on the plan of Salvation. Tito and I had about 7 investigators that
came, so that was good, and the other Elder had people that came as well. I´ll
send pictures.
So ya, one of the things that I was thinking about this week
is how real the power of the spirit is to bind us together as families.
Thinking back, I remember of how when I was in church with my family, I always
felt a lot closer to them. I remember one time when i´d fought recently
with my siblings, but we were all super chill and together in our pew in sacrament
meeting, and i thought to myself "What the heck, why are we all so calm
together right now?" And looking back, I can see that influence of the
Lord, helping us as a family. Well, I´d just like to say that it´s
important that we always do the right things, and the basics that the Lord has
asked of us, so that we can have that influence gradually guiding us and
pulling us to where we need to be. As the Prophet has said "Keep the
Commandments". Simple and clear. So, just remember that promise in your hearts, that as we
obey the Lord, he then can bless us. Live so that the Lord is obligated to
bless you.
