Well, another week becomes the past, carefully placed in the
library of memory. It´s been an interesting one. We´ve worked, but there
haven´t been a whole lot of changes. One new investigator that has a lot of
potential is named Karina Sayago. Please pray for her, so that she can continue
receiving this message. It´s been a hard/good transfer, and I feel that if we
continue working and switching up things, the Lord will bless us.
Hey, fun story of the week. We went to visit Anibal, and we
found him nearby the house of a less-active family in the ward. He and his
less-active friend (Flippin Maxi...) Were at a chill local party, so we called
him, and he came out and met with us. Maxi came too, and he had a glass
of alcohol. We recently taught the Word of Wisdom to Anibal, and he assured us
that he hadn´t been drinking. Maxi tried to tell us it was ok because Jesus
drank wine, and Blah blah blah, and Anibal asked him "Hey, can I see
that?" (Refering to the glass) Maxi gave it to him, and Anibal tossed the
contents on the side of the road. Such a stud. But ya, i´m also a bit bummed
out, because he´s leaving this week on a two week trip, soooo... ya. I´ll keep
you updated :)
Anywho, I just want to say as always that we need to
maintain our contact with God ALWAYS. Because if we keep this contact with our
prayers, scripture study, etc., we´ll be guided well. Always ask for the gifts
of the spirit (Charity, Faith, hope, etc.... all the good stuff) Because these
are things that we bring with us to the next life. Well, I seriously love you
guys, and hope that everyone had a fantastic week.
