What a blessing it is to be here in the work of the Lord!
Every day, I feel gratitude for the blessings that I´ve seen in the lives of
others and in my own in this time. I can feel more and more the influence that
the Lord has in this work. Anywho, it´s been another week filled with
appointments, we´ve been pushing ourselves, trying to expand the circle of
investigators that we have. It´s interesting actually, maybe we speak with
someone in the street, know on their door, or talk with them in a bus, and we
think that that´s the way that the Lord´s going to give us those prepared
people. For example, in the last week, we´ve seen a street salesman named
Alejandro many times in the street, and we´ve never been able to have a sit-down
lesson with him in his home. We lost contact and what do you know? We found
Alejandro once more, and were able to pass by his house to teach the first
lesson. It was incredible, because he understood and accepted everything super
well. He even committed himself to read the Book of Mormon, pray, and go to
church.
Anywho, before I forget, I´d just like to wish a very happy
birthday to my father, a man who has truly inspired me and taught me to do
good, work, and to love God. Have a good one!
Well, I´d just like to encourage you all to engage
yourselves in the work of the Lord, be it preaching the gospel, helping out in
the primary or young men/women, secretary, etc. Whatever your calling may be,
or whatever the Lord desires you to do, do it. We are to edify the Lord´s
kingdom here in the earth.
Hurrah For Israel!
